Farnsfield Lodge situated in Juliasdale offers self-catering facilities. The Lodge is located on 15 hectares of land, and is surrounded by magnificent indigenous trees and shrubs. The Lodge has two lounges, each with their own fireplace. One of the lounges shares a common fireplace back to back with the dining room. The main lounge is spacious and has satellite television and both lounges have spectacular views. There are three bedrooms. The main bedroom is tastefully furnished and has a king-size bed. The large windows on two sides of this room overlook a picturesque garden of Msasa trees and shrubs, and breathtaking views across to the Susurumba Mountain. Adjacent to the main bedroom is a dressing room/bedroom with twin beds which is ideal for use as a family room. The third bedroom has a double bed. Along the passage in the bedroom wing are two bathrooms each with a bath, washbasin and toilet, and an additional separate toilet. In all Farnsfield Lodge sleeps 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped and our resident housekeeper, Mr David Lameck will not only be there to greet you on arrival at Farnsfield Lodge, but is willing to assist you with anything you may need to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. For those guests who do not want to venture too far from the Lodge, we can recommend a hike up the nearby Susurumba Mountain. For those less energetic who want to benefit from the crisp mountain air, shorter walks can be undertaken. A short drive from Farnsfield Lodge are both Claremont Golf Club and the Montclair Casino Hotel, and if you continue on towards Nyanga and beyond, you will without a doubt experience some of the most spectacular and picturesque views imaginable.
